The Big Ole Adventures of Cougar Maine – The Big Ole Truck

Cougar Maine started his Big Ole Truck project at age 12 He took an online course on automobile repair at age 14 He had the support of his junkyard buddy, Owner Bucky Chase By age 16, with all repurposed parts, "The Big Ole Truck" was done.
The Big Ole Truck needed some flare after it was constructed Cougar installed some oversized flood lights on her roof He fitted her with a couple of smoke stacks from a junk Freightliner He painted her green, like his favorite superhero - The Hulk
The flood lights were offsetting yellow and green lights The smoke stacks were sound amplifiers for her radio/CD system The green paint was mixed with some angry eyes on her side panels The Big Ole Truck was ready to be introduced to the world
At age 16, license in hand, Cougar would drive around town He would play loud music which was amplified through the stacks He would flash her lights all hours of the day And he would take up 4 parking spots everywhere she parked
Cougar would park the Big Ole Truck, and park himself in her bed He had a beat up lawn chair bolted into her bed Cougar would take his guitar and sit and play for anyone walking by He would make up songs as people passed him to get their attention
One day, a man pulled up behind the Big Ole Truck on Hwy 177 He listened to Cougar sing, "Big Ole Car, Don't Go Far" The man drove a small Kia sedan and laughed at the song He handed Cougar a business card for his recording studio.
Stay tuned for more Big Ole Adventures of Cougar Maine, as Cougar takes a crack at being a recording artist and learns more about the music business!
