2022 Joe Charette Memorial Tournament 10U Pool Play Starts Today
The 2022 Joe Charette Memorial Tournament, a two week exciting baseball event featuring 10U and 12U teams, begins today. The 10U division will play this week followed by the 12U division which will start play the week of the 22nd. The tournament starts with pool play at various home fields of the tournament entries throughout Rhode Island. Then, the weekend series of games shifts to Dow Field, home of Chariho Little League. Here is the tentative schedule for this week’s 10U Joe Charette Memorial Tournament:

As you can see from the schedule above, teams play 2 games this week to determine seeding for the weekend games. There are (8) 10U teams participating in the 2022 Joe Charette Memorial Tournament:
- South Kingstown
- Narragansett
- Burrillville
- Exeter West Greenwich
- Chariho
- Warwick Continental American
- Rumford
- Apponaug
Dow Field has plenty of parking, plenty of great views of the field, concession stand, picnic tables, and will be the host field for the tournament’s final games. Chris Charette and his team of volunteers do an excellent job of hosting this tournament every summer and families are treated to an amazing Rhode Island Baseball Experience. Good luck to all the players, coaches, and families this week playing in the 10U Tournament. I will update scores and schedules from Chris and the tournament all week and weekend.
