The 2022 Rhode Island Collegiate Baseball Season – It’s Not Too Late To Go Catch A Home Game

One of my 2022 Rhode Island Baseball Experience goals (yes I have a list, don’t laugh) was to see a home game for each of our Rhode Island College and University baseball teams. These talented rosters feature tons of top collegiate baseball players from here in Rhode Island and all across the USA. And the baseball fields they compete on are some of the best fields to catch a game at. The chatter from the dugouts, the hiss of a top notch collegiate pitcher, watching a towering home run sail over the left field fence, stolen bases, pickoff throws, the fans, the intensity of in state rivalry games – I got to experience a ton of great collegiate baseball this Spring. And if you haven’t been to a Rhode Island collegiate game, you are missing out on an amazing Rhode Island Baseball Experience.

Luckily, you still have plenty of time to get to a game. Here is your guide to make sure you get out to one of the 8 Rhode Island collegiate baseball program’s last remaining home games for the 2022 season (excluding playoffs.) I have included a photo I took at each school’s home game I attended this year.

Brown University Baseball finishes their season with two straight weekends of home games vs Princeton, then finishes their season on Sunday, May 8th vs Cornell. The Brown Bear Baseball Club plays its home games at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium, Providence.

Salve Regina University Baseball finishes their season at home with a doubleheader vs Endicott College on Saturday, May 7th. The Seahawks Baseball Club play their home games at Reynolds Field, Newport.

Rhode Island College plays their last home game of 2022 season on Monday, May 2nd vs. Nichols College. The Anchormen play their home games at Pontarelli Field, Providence.

The Community College of Rhode Island Baseball club plays its final home game of 2022 on Sunday, May 1st vs Eastern Connecticut State. The Knights play their home games at Fell Field, Warwick.

Roger Williams University hosts their last home game of 2022 on Thursday, May 5th vs UMass-Dartmouth. The Hawks Baseball club play their home games at Paolino Field, Bristol.

Bryant University will play their last 7 games at home, with the final home game of 2022 on Saturday, May 21st vs Wagner. The Bulldogs play their home games at Conaty Park, Smithfield.

The University of Rhode Island will play their last home game of 2022 on Sunday, May 15th vs. Saint Louis. The Rams play their home games at Bill Beck Field, Kingston.

Click on the highlighted school name above to be redirected to that school’s baseball webpage. There you can find schedules, win/loss record, player profiles, and see how the team has done so far in 2022. The Rhode Island Collegiate baseball season is inching closer to conference tournament time, so make sure you get out to a game before it is too late! Trust me, it is an amazing Rhode Island Baseball Experience watching some of the top collegiate baseball players playing at a very high level!
