This is an exciting new venture for the Rhode Island Baseball Experience – scouting reports for the Rhode Island Baseball Community written by players, coaches, parents, grandparents, or league administrators. These are players looking for some press, maybe to join an AAU program, maybe to get some local high school exposure statewide, and possibly the attention collegiate coaches and pro scouts. Brag About Yourself, Tell Me About Your Rhode Island Baseball Journey: Cam’s love of baseball was immediate beginning with T-Ball in Portsmouth Little League (PLL). He’s also played with Sea Wolves, NE Scorpions & currently playing with the Bandits 15/16u Prospect team. Cam is a RHP, and plays 1B & OF. In fall of 2021 he was named by NE Journal of Baseball in the top 25 NE Impact players for pitching heading into his freshman year. Cam has loved every baseball coach he has ever had & believes he learns something valuable from each of them. Notably, Craig Spaner & Jim Mass at PLL, Kevin Weaver at PMS, & Tony Vieira, Andy Andrade & Mike Schuermann at Sea Wolves and NE Scorpions & presently Coach (Dave) Roy at Bandits. All have helped to shape the smart & mature player he is. Cam’s defense is impeccable & he shines on the mound. He is known for stepping in & stepping up at critical moments to secure a game for his team. When others reject taking the ball, Cam lights up & then digs down and with laser focus gets to work. Cam is a relentless competitor & adores & respects his teammates, coaches, and the game. Cam is so excited for Spring 2022 & his freshman year at PHS!!!

The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
