Pawtucket Slaterettes To Compete in Maria Pepe Baseball Tournament

Good luck to the 10U Pawtucket Slaterettes Girls Baseball team as they head to Hoboken, NJ for the Maria Pepe Baseball Tournament. Coach Dave Bouvier sent me a link and message last night about this exciting opportunity for the Slaterettes Baseball team. According to the official tournament website’s history page, “In September, 2018 the NYC Wonders hosted the inaugural Maria Pepe Baseball Series in Edgewater, NJ. Honoring Maria Pepe, whose pioneering efforts allowed girls to play Little League baseball, teams came together from not just New York, but Boston, MA, Washington, DC, Pawtucket, RI, Short Hills, NJ and Quebec, Canada! The competition, sportsmanship, and mentoring for all the players was incredible.
