I have been working with the community marketing group at Dick’s Sporting Goods, specifically Dan LeBreck, for the past few years. Dan is the Community Marketing Manager for Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. His team has coordinated a number of events for local RI and MA youth sports leagues to visit the various Dick’s Sporting Goods locations on special weekends to receive a discount on in store items. Each league is given a specific date and flyers are created with the special discount and coupon to be presented in the store. I have been honored to help promote these weekends on my social media pages and hope that leagues have taken advantage of the in store discounts on bats, baseballs, gloves, hats, and so much more.
