Rhode Island’s Merc Bat Company Baseballs Now Little League® Approved
Merc Bat Company is a Rhode Island based independent distributor of high quality wooden baseball bats and baseballs. Their President of Marketing and Sales is Mark Cahill. Cahill emailed me last week about a big announcement for Merc Bat. Merc had submitted 3 of their Merc MLL Youth Baseballs to the office of Little League® baseball for approved licensing consideration. This past week, Merc Bat Company baseballs were granted approval and are now listed on the approved regular season and tournament list of baseballs. You can find this list at https://www.littleleague.org/partnerships/licensing/baseballs-softballs/

The three approved baseballs listed with Little League® are the MLL1, MLL2, and the MLL3. The MLL1 and MLL2 are game and/or tournament baseballs, with the MLL3 designed to be used as a practice baseball. These high quality baseballs are designed for Majors, Minors, even elite travel team play for players 13 and under. According to Mark Cahill, “Several leagues have used the baseball’s this past year and the reviews have been awesome!”
The Merc MLL Youth baseballs retail online and in person for $42 per dozen. Mark is extending a special offer to all Rhode Island Little League organizations to commemorate this exciting news from Little League®. The MLL1, MLL2, and MLL3 baseballs are now available for $35 per dozen. To purchase your approved Little League® Merc MLL Youth baseballs from Merc Bat Company, go to www.mercbatco.com.
