This week we are starting a series devoted to local businesses who have enrolled in the Swipe for a Cause program to help support hospice and other charity. Our first North Kingstown merchant that we would like to recognize is Sampson’s Automotive. I caught up with Robin Sampson to learn more about their business and why they chose to work with Swipe for a Cause. Here is an excerpt from our conversation:
Hi Robin, tell me a little about Sampson’s Automotive.
Thanks. Well, Sampson’s Automotive has been in business in North Kingstown for 6 years. We are now a Rhode Island State Inspection Station (#446) and a registered emissions repair facility. Our business works on all vehicles – foreign or domestic – and we offer a wide range of automobile maintenance solutions such as oil/filter changes, brakes, and suspension work just to name a few.
Fantastic, so how did you meet the team at Swipe for a Cause?
We met them at a local networking meeting. Their sales/product team was excellent in explaining the business benefits and we just loved the fact that there was a worthy charity like hospice that was directly benefitting as well. We save money on our processsing fees and help the community. It is a no brainer for Sampson’s Auto.

On Sunday June 14th, 2015 (Flag Day) we will be hosting the 3rd Annual “ANCHOR DOWN” European Car Show. This event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).
