12 Sacrifice Presents For 12 Lucky Rhode Island Baseball Trivia Winners In December Courtesy of Axis Bats

Yesterday morning, I took the drive out to the Axis Bat Headquarters and Factory on Anawan Street in Fall River. Owner Lou Ledoux greeted me with a big hello as we was finishing up a project in the factory and we sat down for a bit to catch up and discuss the Sacrifice Present program. I did a story on Lou and Axis Bats in 2021 and have kept in touch with Lou via email and text over the past year or so. The Axis Bats Company is doing amazing, Lou is a baseball treasure to be around. He has more energy than the entire roster of some Tee Ball Leagues and almost as much heart as that Ole St. Nicholas himself. If you are unfamiliar with Lou and Axis Bats, you can read my story about him here – Axis Bats – or take a moment to view his website at www.axisbats.com.

A few weeks ago, I floated the idea of gift giving for the holidays and Lou reached out to me with a great idea of his own. A 12 day trivia contest with the daily winner receiving a bat courtesy of Axis Bats. Lou and I finalized the plans yesterday and I am happy to announce that the 12 Sacrifice Presents Courtesy of Axis Bats Giveaway will start Sunday, December 4th. Head over to my social media pages – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – and check out a trivia question centered around Rhode Island baseball. Could be a player, could be a field, could be a famous Rhode Islander I have written about, could be how you would score a certain play in your scorebook. 12 questions, 12 presents, 12 lucky winners this holiday season!

So, just to recap – Head over to my Rhode Island Baseball Experience Facebook or Twitter or Instagram page every morning before 12 noon. I will post a Rhode Island Baseball related question. Answer the question in the comment section or send me an email at ribaseballexperience@gmail.com with your answer. Winners will be chosen randomly the night of the trivia contest and will be announced the following day when I post another trivia question. 12 bats will be given away courtesy of Axis Bats, Fall River, MA. Winners will be instructed on how they can choose a bat from Lou’s inventory and how to get it shipped or picked up at his factory in Fall River. No purchase necessary. You can enter every single day of the contest but you are only eligible once per day. If you need the bat picked up in Fall River, I can help with that and then meet up with you or your parent or your coach to deliver the bat.

Huge thanks to Lou Ledoux and Axis Bats for their generosity and interest in the Sacrifice Present program. And good luck everyone who participates. Let’s have some fun and give away some bats!!!
