Central Falls Youth Baseball’s Comeback Fundraiser Goal – Every Kid Plays For Free in 2023
One of my favorite things to write, post, and share is when a Rhode Island baseball organization and their local community come together to achieve a positive result. Fundraisers are critical for most youth sports leagues and help raise funds for field improvements, equipment upgrades, and sometimes to support scholarships for membership or registration fees. Today, I read a post about a local Rhode Island baseball league and its goal – “Every kid plays for free next year (2023).” That league is Central Falls Youth Baseball League.
So, how are they approaching this lofty goal? Simply put on the flyer on their Facebook page (Central Falls Youth Baseball League) The Comeback Fundraiser. An evening of silent auctions, baseball chatter, and more is scheduled for tomorrow night, Thursday August 25th at the Good Fellas Tavern, Central Falls. According to the flyer, their goal is to have 150 kids (ages 4-14) play registration free for 2023. Check out the flyer I saw and read more about the event:
