Where To Find And Share A Rhode Island High School Baseball Experience Today

With Central Falls High School and Blackstone Valley Prep’s opening night game on Friday completed and in the books, (Central Falls took the opening game) the 2022 Rhode Island High School Baseball season will now kick it into high gear today, Monday April 4th. 9 games are scheduled for either 4pm or 4:15pm today throughout the Rhode Island baseball field map stretching from Old Mountain Field to North Smithfield High School. And where do you find all the game times, field locations, and teams participating each and every day from now until late May? The Rhode Island Interscholastic League website – www.riil.org – is the resource I trust for all things Rhode Island High School Baseball. And here is something cool I found today that will help you and others find a Rhode Island High School Baseball Experience a little easier.

If you go to the “Varsity Schedules” tab on the left hand side of the RIIL baseball page you will be able to see the entire 2022 tentative schedule of games. Once you pull up the schedule, hover over the field location under “school.” Click on the highlighted link and it will take you to a page similar to this one for the Cranston East vs Smithfield game today at Smithfield High School:

Now you can see just where Cranston East is playing via Google Maps, if you or someone you know is unfamiliar with how to get to Smithfield High School. This link provides the game day, game time, the two teams playing, the location, the address. Very useful link, easy to read and understand, and share. Now, if you have friends and family that were planning on going to the game to support your Rhode Island High School baseball player, you can share this link on your personal social media page, or like in my case, share it on my RI Baseball Experience pages on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Here is what that might look like:

Some of the maps even go into detail as to how to get to the games. Like this one featuring North Kingstown vs LaSalle Academy at Slocum’s Lischio Field. Lischio Field can be found by going 5 or 6 different ways, but I only know this because I am from the area. Here is a snapshot of the helpful link to get today’s opening game for North Kingstown and LaSalle:

You can switch out the Google Map look if you are into landmark directions, like me. If I see a familiar landmark on a map or when I ask for directions (Or is that near the Greyhound Bus Terminal), I am good. Here is another view of the Google Map feature with some familiar landmarks for the St. Raphael’s Academy vs Mount St. Charles Academy game at Pawtucket’s Fairlawn Veterans Memorial Park:

First off, Congrats to the Central Falls High School baseball team for their first win of the season. And good luck to the 18 Rhode Island High School Baseball teams beginning their 2022 season today throughout Rhode Island’s awesome baseball fields. Baseball fields and experiences and schedules which are easy to find and share at the official website of Rhode Island Interscholastic Sports – www.riil.org.
