Introducing Anchor Sports, South Kingstown’s Newest Indoor Sports Training Facility

I received an email from my brother-in-law Harvey Hohl regarding a new sports training facility in South Kingstown called Anchor Sports. Anchor Sports was founded by South Kingstown native, Curtis Corner Middle School Head Baseball Coach Josh Rosen. According to the flyer sent to me, Rosen founded Anchor Sports “on the basis of structuring
local indoor sports training and clinics for boys and girls ages 7-18 in the South County community.” Here are the flyers for your viewing which include a clinic schedule, prices, a computerized mockup of what the facility will look like and more about Anchor Sports:

As a point of reference, Church St. runs off Kingstown Road across from Old Mountain Field in South Kingstown/Wakefield. South Kingstown High School is also located on Church St. There is a website being built (according to the flyer) and social media pages to follow I am sure. Clinics start in early/mid January, 2022 and run until late March, 2002 or just before the Spring Baseball Schedule begins. Coaching staff and instructors to be announced and I will post this information as soon as it becomes available. And if I have a chance to visit Anchor Sports and snap some photos, I will do so and share on my social media pages. For now, if you are looking for more information, contact Anchor Sports via email – anchorsportsri@gmail.com.

The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
