The Rhode Island Men’s Senior Baseball League (RIMSBL) is an amateur baseball league for age divisions 30+, 40+, and 50+. RIMSMBL plays on some of the best baseball fields all over the state of Rhode Island – from Rhode Island College to McCarthy Field, Renaud to Lischio, Cardines to Macomber, and tons in between. Many of the players are former high level/collegiate baseball players, current Little League coaches, Dads, perhaps some Grandpas, lawyers, school teachers, plumbers, and above all – baseball junkies. The RIMSBL regular season recently completed and here are the regular season champions, according to their official Facebook page:

• 30+ Division – Providence Sharks
• 40+ Division – Salty Dogs 40+
• 50+ Division – Colt 45s 50+

And now comes playoffs, to really ratchet up the bragging rights at local football games, the local breweries, and in the aches and pains aisle in the local groceries stores. Who will be crowned the Rhode Island Men’s Senior Baseball League Champ this season for the 30+, 40+, and 50+ divisions? Here is a snapshot of upcoming games as seen on the RIMBSBL website:
