Riverside Little League’s Dinner and Music On The Diamond Set for September 25

Kristopher Hallene is a great baseball resource for me when it comes to Riverside Little League, ATC Baseball, and updates at Ron Silva Field. He messages me when there is a tryout or if Riverside has an important game at home/away, and more recently events and fundraisers to help support Riverside Little League. Ron Silva Field is home to so many baseball memories and amazing games. And now serves as the backdrop for some really cool fundraiser events hosted by Riverside Little League.

For example, last weekend Riverside Little League hosted a very successful fundraiser event and car show at Ron Silva. Kristopher had messaged me a copy of the online flyer and after 1 reschedule due to Tropical Storm Henri, the event took place on Sunday August 29th. Wow, what an afternoon that was had yesterday at the Ron Silva Baseball Complex. After having to move the event to our rain date, our inaugural car show fundraiser went off without a hitch on Sunday and was met with lots of fun and rave reviews. The fundraiser was deemed a success for Riverside Little League, the money raised will be used to improve the Ron Silva Baseball Complex. Field maintenance/changes, a new scoreboard, and additions to the concession stand are just a few items this money will help achieve. We have so many people we would like to thank for making this a winning event. First, the car and motorcycle owners. Without you, there would be no event. We are so thankful to all the owners that attended yesterday and showed off their vehicles. We were so pleased to see the variety of cars that attended and happy to speak to the owners about their amazing vehicles.

2nd, our sponsors. Thank you to all the great sponsors we had that helped us put this event on. We appreciate your support of Riverside Little League and encourage our league members to keep these great folks in mind when looking at any projects or events in the future.

3rd, all the players, families, and the community that came out to enjoy the afternoon, grab some food, look at some great cars/motorcycles, and vote for their favorites. Lastly, all the volunteers from Riverside Little League that helped prepare, and run this event, to ensure it was a success. From the folks at the concession stand to our field maintenance crew, to the people helping direct the cars were to go. We couldn’t pull this off without your help and dedication. We understand everyone’s time is valuable, and we are grateful that you donated your weekend to this event. The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see.
