Rhode Island College Summer Prospect School Scheduled for August 16

I received a notification this week on Twitter via Coach Frank Holbrook of Rhode Island College about an upcoming event in August. Rhode Island College will host the 2021 Summer Prospect School on Monday August 16th. This prospect school will take place on the campus of Rhode Island College and will be coordinated by Coach Holbrook and his RIC Baseball staff. The one day event will feature coaching, evaluation and instruction for high school players from Class 2021-2023. Positional workouts, assessments and drills will be followed by a live game to end the event’s schedule of activities. I have attached the registration flyer for the 2021 Rhode Island College Prospect School below.

Here is the link to the document/PDF if you have any trouble downloading it – RIC Baseball School. Any questions or concerns about the Rhode Island Baseball Prospect School, feel free to contact Coach Frank Holbrook at 401.456.8258 or via email at fholbrook@ric.edu. Looks like a great opportunity for high school baseball players to get a quality workout in, visit the campus of Rhode Island College, receive top notch instruction and evaluation from the RIC baseball staff, and get in a game to impress the coaching staff. Good luck to all who participate.

The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
