Catching Up With Bryan Murray and Area Scouts RI

I met Bryan Murray this past summer at a Providence Slugfest game in East Providence to learn more about the Area Scouts RI program. Bryan is the Regional Evaluator for Area Scouts RI. Great baseball guy and Dad, so we had a ton to talk about. We stayed in contact throughout the summer baseball season and into the fall baseball programs. Bryan has been actively working on promoting Area Scouts and its athlete heath and development initiatives. Along the way, Area Scouts has gained significant momentum, adding local baseball evaluators Brad Rao, Andy Friess, Scott Legere, and Joel Lynch to work with athletes in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts areas. Lenny DiNardo has been added to the Area Scouts team as Assistant Director of Pitching. Local RI baseball resource, Upper Deck Baseball Academy, is one of the first indoor facilities here in Rhode Island to partner with Area Scouts RI. And there are more exciting opportunities for athletes to come in the near future. Area Scouts RI is on the rise!!!

Area Scouts RI evaluators use an diagnostic tool called the B.A.S.E. Assessment™ and here is how it breaks down. Biomechanics, Athleticism, Sequence, and Endurance (make up the anagram BASE) can help define where an athlete is, where they maybe room for improvement, even where there maybe cause for concern. By testing and analyzing posture, running gait, strength, and flexibility, the evaluator has a baseline of athletic performance to work with. And, to identify potential flaws in posture and performance that can be corrected to not only improve athletic performance but also the health and wellness of the athlete. This is so important for youth sports athletes especially in their early stages of development as a pitcher, hitter, catcher, fielder, and baseball player. Area Scouts RI and their B.A.S.E. Assessment™ is designed to help your athlete today, tomorrow, and for many seasons to follow.

If you would like sign up your athlete for a B.A.S.E. Assessment™ and gain the benefits of this incredible diagnostic tool, follow this link – Area Scouts RI – to be directed to a sign up page. An evaluator will contact you to schedule an assessment appointment and go over the program details.

If you are a Rhode Island baseball coach looking to become an Area Scouts Evaluator, there are opportunities available.
