Rhode Island All Star 12U and 10U Tournament Schedule Released

The end of summer Rhode Island All Star Tournament is set to begin Monday, September 21st. 20 12U teams and 16 10U teams will be competing for the unofficial title of RI State Champions. The competition will take place throughout Rhode Island’s best youth baseball fields and feature a wide range of teams from all over the state. This should be an incredible week or so of youth baseball here in RI, one for the ages!

I reached out to tournament director Chris Charrette to get some updates on the tournament and here is what Chris wrote back to me: “4 pools are set . Shown below. Also the 10U schedule is attached. Woonsocket in pool E will play either Cumberland or Coventry which will be determined tomorrow from the Rumford tournament.  Since there will be 2 teams from the Chariho tourney also in the semi finals of the Rumford tournament on the 21st this game will be counted as a pool game also to keep everyone on schedule and to avoid making up a game on Thursday. This game will be Rumford Vs. The winner of the Cumberland / Coventry game. That will set and finalize the schedule…

Also noted, 12U and 10U games will be played at 5:30 pm, unless otherwise noted in the schedules above. As the brackets develop and the schedule of games is posted, I will get that information out to you as quickly as possible. Feel free to message me with any photos or game updates so I can share on social media. And good luck to the many, many Rhode Island baseball families, players, coaches, and communities who are participating in the 2020 Rhode Island All Star State Tournament.
