Press Release from NEAAU Regarding Summer Baseball

Jim Agnew from the Rhode Island Rays Baseball Club messaged me yesterday with a press release:

Hi All,

I hope everyone is well. I wanted to send you all a quick note ahead of our upcoming league announcement next week.

As you probably know, several states have made very recent updates both last week and this week. While we have had an unpublished plan developed for a few weeks, these new state updates are helping finalize the format for this summer’s NEAAU league play.

Things look very hopeful and I just wanted to let you know that we are organizing the details to be published online in early June as we indicated in our May 15 announcement. Just as it would in a normal spring season, our plan consists of a full schedule of games and league playoffs.

If your club has urgent concerns, please let me know (tskovron@neaau.org) and we can schedule a time to speak by phone.

We thank you and all the families of AAU for their patience throughout this process. Have a great weekend.

Best,

Todd Skovron
