Rhode Island Collegiate Baseball Players Set To Begin Spring Season

Here in Rhode Island, we have eight collegiate level baseball programs. I was surprised a 9th – Providence College – did not have a baseball program, despite an email and letter writing campaign from current and former students. These 8 collegiate baseball teams encompass the entire state of Rhode Island – from Bristol to Newport and Providence to Kingston – and provide student athletes with an incredible opportunity to play baseball at a high level and earn a quality education. Whether you are player looking to play at the next level, an alumni of an RI collegiate institution, or just a baseball fan looking to watch a collegiate game, here is where you can find our Rhode Island collegiate baseball programs.

The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
