The Baseball Fields of North Kingstown Wickford Little League
Having been a volunteer with North Kingstown Wickford (formerly just Wickford) Little League for close to 10 years and living in North Kingstown, I have had almost daily access to their baseball fields. My kids go to school in North Kingstown, so I drive by the various parks and ball fields just about every day during the week. And, with games and practices from roughly April to October, I am at or going to a baseball field in North Kingstown quite often.
For North Kingstown Wickford Little League, their main campus of fields is at Wilson Park. Wilson Park is a multi-use campus with basketball courts, playground area, tennis courts, huge multi-sport fields for lacrosse and soccer, and a walking/jogging track. For baseball, there are three Little League® regulation fields for Coach Pitch, AA (Minors), and AAA (Majors). Their signature field is Ed Cooney Field which is where the Majors division plays and is the field of choice for district tournament games. There is a busy snack bar, restrooms, and plenty of seating for games.

North Kingstown Wickford Little League is also blessed to have several other fields for our youth baseball players to learn and enhance their skills. Signal Rock features two baseball fields (Minors and Majors), plenty of parking and seating, batting cages, and playground area.

Other fields used in North Kingstown included McGinn Park and Feurer Park for the Tee Ball levels as well as Lischio Field for Juniors/Seniors divisions. We are really blessed to have some many great fields here in North Kingstown for youth baseball instruction, practices, games, and tournaments.
There are so many volunteers to thank that help North Kingstown Wickford Little League function and operate every year. Having been a part of this organization for as long as I have, you get to know the names and faces of the individuals who go above and beyond for this league. In my time, I want to recognize a few of the many who have really made an exemplary effort and an impact on me personally and the league as well.
Arnie Sarazen, Don Coyne, George Porter, Todd Mascena, Jim McGrath, Ames Kaiser, Rob Arnold, Rob Maybach, Ray LeBlanc, Jack Pyne, Chris Beattie
And thank you to all the past Presidents, sponsorship coordinators, bookkeepers, umpire coordinators, concession stand managers, and field crews who have made this league so successful for decades here in North Kingstown.
