Rhode Island Fall HitTrax League Starting in November

In speaking with local baseball scout and coach Mark Cahill of KPerformance Baseball and Merc Bat Company, he mentioned an upcoming Fall HitTrax League. Here is more from Mark on the league:

The following information is for the Fall HitTrax League that KPerformance Baseball and KR Baseball Academy are running. The games are played at both locations. They play each other through the HitTrax system. There is a video camera used during the games.

The league will consist of 4-6 teams. The league runs for 6 consecutive weeks and a additional 2 weeks for playoffs. Each team will play a doubleheader each week. Teams consist of 4 players. There will be batting practice pitchers for every game. There will be bat restrictions. Games will played at MLB Fields of choice that the dimensions area age appropriate. Prizes will awarded to the champions of each age bracket.

Ages: 11,12,13 & 14

Dates for ages 11 & 12 are November 3,10, 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15 & 22

Dates for ages 13& 14 are November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16 & 23

Times: 2-4pm each day. Team will either play at 2pm or 3pm.

If league consists of 6 teams we add one hour to 4pm.

Fee per team: $400

We will be adding Holiday Tournaments and National Tournaments to our schedule soon.
