The featured artists are:

Donato Beauchaine, North Kingstown, is a widely regarded oil and watercolor painter who has an uncanny knack for his representations of light and shadows and their effect on the structural elements of his landscapes.

Julie Brayton, a painter from Providence, has a unique ability to see the color of light, and brings out the subtle nuances of color in nature with her brush.

Sylvia Hampton, Middletown, got her start in photography as a young child and started earning awards in college. She has a special “eye” for capturing the essence of faces and places from around the world.

Rachel Marzocchi, an award-winning photographer from Cumberland, has mastered the art of capturing the abstract in floral photography. She shows her work throughout Rhode Island.

Sheila Newquist, North Kingstown, is an accomplished watercolorist whose painting process continues to evolve as she explores color theory and artistic license. Her passion for art has been shaped by all of life’s challenges, which is expressed in her remarkable work.

Kerstin Zettmar, painter and fiber artist from Newport, presents a unique art form she calls “fibrations”, or painting with yarn. Her textures and layering of fibers gives her work an unparalleled quality.

  1. St.Bernard Church will be having an art auction/walk at our festival Sunday, after the 10:30 mass. Perhaps you will find just what that empty space in your hall is begging for. How lucky we are that this town continues to have such gifted artists and so many places to visit and enjoy and perhaps purchase something special.
